Dianna Barbour, Glass Artist for the Fenton Art Glass Company demonstrated her craft after the 2006 Stretch Glass Society Banquet on July 28, 2006.

The ever popular speaker, Howard Seufer, retired Quality Control Director for the Fenton Art Glass Company, discussed molds and glass making with Stretch Glass Society members participating.

One of the Club Display vignettes featured these shaving and smoking items in Celeste Blue and Topaz.

At the Stretch Glass Convention the club features a "club display" where members loan special pieces of stretch glass around a general theme. This year, the theme was "Boudoir Items and Associated Pieces." Colognes, perfumes, puff boxes, bud vases, tumble-ups (individual pitchers and tumblers), smoking items, and similar items were arranged in attractive groupings!

Scott Fenton, National Sales Director for the Fenton Art Glass Company, gave an interesting talk on Fenton's recent company changes and plans for the future.

A stretch glass assortment in Topaz (commonly called vaseline glass by collectors) of colognes, puff boxes, smoking items, candleholders and small fan vase.

The Stretch Glass Society has a tradition of having a single room where members can display personal collections as well as sell iridescent stretch glass. This is the display and sales room located in the Comfort Inn, Marietta, Ohio in 2006.

A #400 Guest Set in Wistaria (sic) with a cobalt blue handle. This set was made by Fenton and can be found in almost all the stretch glass colors they made.

A Northwood ash tray and underlying, three-toed bowl for disposal of the ashes.

Fenton appears to be the only company that made a shaving mug in stretch glass colors. Only Celeste Blue and Topaz (=Vaseline) ones have been seen by collectors.
