March 2017 Stretch Glass Society Quarterly Now Available

Dear SGS Friends,

Here's your March SGS Quarterly, hot off the press. When you read Vickie's article about this year's convention, and Pam's about the great time she had at last year's, you'll want to mark your calendars for July 26-28, and make your reservations early.  Time flies!

Dave's article on Vineland stretch glass expands upon what we learned in the February Stretch Out Call. And, as noted in Mary Elda's announcement, our May 11th call will, for the first time, focus on Fenton's contemporary stretch glass. Again -- mark your calendars! Perhaps some of us, like Sarah and her daughter, and our younger Fenton-collecting friends, first fell in love with this "new" stretch glass. Can love of our vintage stretch be far behind?

V.P. Bob takes us on a vicarious winter trip to the Tampa Bay Carnival Glass Convention, and he and President Cal fill us in on club business and upcoming appearances of our SGS ambassadors -- perhaps at a location near you.

Happy Spring!
